HENRIK LORENZ

As a famous goalkeeper, Henrik have played for the Hong Kong Football Club 1st Team for 5 year in the seventies and as an amateur player in the professional First Division in Hong Kong. He organized a lot of football trips to South America, Central America, South Africa and Namibia, Europe and participated at a lot of Football Tournaments around South East Asia. Furthermore he brought to the Far East quite a lot of Ex-Internationals from England, Scotland, Ireland and Germany 1990 World Champions like Juergen Klinsmann, Pierre Littbarski and Uwe Bein that played with his team in Singapore and Hong Kong, and that won the Singapore International Soccer 7s 4 times and the HKFC 7s 3 times.

TIM BREDBURY
When asked how he got started on football, he replied, "I left school after fifth form after doing my 0-levels, then I went from school to Liverpool. One of the teachers, Bill McMahon, and my father wrote a letter to Liverpool and basically I went there for trials and then played for them, and that is how it started."
Tim has been playing professional football since he was I 6 and has recently approached a professional football company, 'Kickstar', which has been running at KGV for a few years now. He's also looking for guest coaches from overseas to come to Hong Kong, such as Norman Whiteside from Manchester United, and Tommy Hutchens who's coming at Easter. Tim also works for FIFA for their pro-motions. As to his age, he will be 35 in April and is looking for another career after he finishes playing. He has considered coaching and believes that football's spread is "taking off" in Asia and would like to be part of it in some way. |
Tim began his professional football career with Liverpool Football Club in 1979, and was with the Club for 3 years before being approached by a Hong Kong professional team Ryoden FC in 1982 to play football in Asia.
Between 1982 and 1999 Tim has held professional football contracts with football Clubs based in Hong Kong (Ryoden FC, Seiko FC, Rangers FC, South China FC, Lai Sun FC, Frankwell FC, Sing Tao FC & Instant-Dict FC), Australia (Sydney Olympic FC) and Malaysia (Selangor FC & Sabah FC).
Tim has won 1 Second Division title, 1 Junior Viceroy Cup title, 7 Hong Kong League titles, 5 Viceroy Cup titles, 4 Senior Shield titles, 4 FA Cup titles, 2 Seven a Side titles. Tim has also been Hong Kong's top goal scorer on 3 separate occasions.
At Club level, Tim brings a wealth of playing experience having played against top club sides from around the world, these include Corinthians (Brazil), Lucky Gold Star (S Korea), Sampdoria (Italy), AC Milan (Italy), Everton (UK), Aston Villa (UK), Coventry (UK), Brondby (Denmark)
In 1986, Tim joined the Hong Kong National Team and has played in the World Cup qualifying rounds, Olympics qualifying rounds, Asian Games (Yokohama).
Tim has also been a regular member of the Hong Kong league XI side competing in the Carlsberg Cup tournaments playing against such sides as Denmark, Paraguay, Yugoslavia, Japan, South Korea, Nigeria, Sweden, Romania, Switzerland, China.
During his professional football career, Tim also had trials with UK professional teams such as Wimbledon FC, Crystal Palace FC, Blackburn Rovers and Torquay United.
In addition to his professional playing career, he is also a fully qualified English Football Association coach and is currently undertaking a UEFA A license through the English Football Association.
