Climate:
Phuket has two major seasons: the Rains Season from May through October, and the Hot Season from November through April. There are many sunny days throughout the Rains Season: showers customarily last little more than 2 or 3 hours. September is the wettest month. The best months are November through February. Average temperatures range between 22 and 34 degrees Celsius.

The Stadium:
Karon Stadium is on renovation (new grass) for the venue of the FIFA Under-19 Women's World Championship, which will be held in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket during the 3 first weeks of November. so we expect to provide 2 great pitches for the 2004 tournament.
- The Karon stadium can accommodate a total of 2,500 people, with seating for 1,500.
- The grounds include two dressing rooms, two men's and two women's toilets and parking space for 100 cars.
- Daily buffet lunches will be provide to all Teams (10 registered players per team + extra-person registered).
- Free drinks will be provide for players during games (fresh water & soft drinks).
- A sales-point will be on the playing venue to supply water bottle, ice, soft drinks, energetic drinks, beer, then sales of official products as tournament polo and T-shirt, program, CD souvenir, etc.
- First rescue nurses, with ambulance.

Karon Beach:
This is a long three to four kilometre strand with undoubtedly the finest sand on Phuket. It positively squeaks beneath your feet on the walk from the road down to the water. Karon beach offers little in the way of shade except a few palms and rented parasols, so precaution against sunburn should be taken before spending extended time on it. There's also quite a steep underwater cant dropping off into the ocean, so weaker swimmers are advised to either stay out of the water or head south to safer Kata Beach. At the southern end of the beach you can snorkel around the rocks and gradually make your way around the headland. Further north, past the village of Karon, there is more good snorkelling. Karon Beach is the place to go if you desire an uninterrupted view of the ocean. It's as though the world comes to an end and drops off into the azure waters of the Andaman.

How to reach Karon Stadium from Patong Beach?
The Karon Stadium is located at 15/20 minutes by vehicle from Patong Beach. Transportation is free of charge for teams which have booked package at the official hotel (I would like to remain that we are offering preferential rates for packages "Accommodation & Transportation").In case you decide to arrange your own accommodation (in Patong) and transportation, a local taxi (called tuk-tuk or Songteow) will ask you between 500 and 1.000 Thb, or more, for a private one way transportation to Karon Stadium, so before to embark you will have to bargain, but please you should have to secure 15/20 more minutes than to your timing: What a pity, in case you will be on delay at your first match of the day ! If you prefere that we arrange all transfers from/to stadium and/or from/to airport, thanks to contact us, we will provide a mini-van with driver for your team.

Patong Resort Hotel has been selected as the "Official Tournament Hotel" for the 2004 Phuket Soccer 7s Tournament. At this stage, 70 rooms are pre-booked (30 standard rooms and 40 deluxe rooms) but it will be possible to increase the number of rooms, depend on your requests.
