Due to unexpected damages of the pitch at Sanam Chai sporting venue, the organisers have decided to move the playing venue to offer the players a decent and safe pitch.

Naming Rights of the 2005 Phuket Soccer 7s Tournament are still available.
The Phuket International Soccer 7s will be contested at Sanam Chai sporting venue over two weekends on 19-20 and 25-26-27 November 2005, with games kicking off at 8:30 each day. 48 teams from 13 countries will compete this International Sport Event in 3 categories, 1 Master and 2 Open tournaments, with the support of the Asian Seven-a-Side Football Federation, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Phuket Town.
